Thank you for describing Meredith’s passion for listening first and advising which she believed was the best course to take. I also want to thank Susie for her insight. I may be a Canadian but a border doesn’t change who we are both as a senior and a human being. How we can do our part to help ourselves by reaching out for help from those who can help us.
I'm actually kind of blown away at the impact of this podcast. Susie's message is so simple and subtle, yet so brilliant. There are choices I could make to remove something in my life I don't like. And it wouldn't be expensive if it cost anything at all.
Fostering a listening, supportive, healing community is noble work.
"So often, when we experience ourselves as a victim, we look for a “savior” who we believe will make our life better. From my perspective, this is how politics can start to feel more like a religion than a process for shaping our government."
Yes! I've never heard it articulated so perfectly like that but yes!
I've seen quite a bit of footage of political supporters that sound more like they're at a cult meeting than a political rally.
Lovely tribute to our dear friend Meredith Gelfand. Enjoyed the whole podcast very much. I needed to hear all of this. Thank you!
Thank you for listening and I’m grateful that it was meaningful to you. 🙏
